Pastor Author, pastor, faith-healer, and television presenter Chris Oyakhilome (also called Pastor Chris) is the founder of LoveWorld Incorporated. The company, which is also called Christ Embassy is located in Lagos, Nigeria. His unique presentation of God’s Word has enthralled millions worldwide.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a child of faith, raised in a loving family and was supported by his parents. He is the eldest of three sons who was born to elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founders of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her grace on her son from a young age.

The LoveWorld ministry is a collaboration between the entire family. Oyakhilome Reverend Ken is his brother and is the revered Pastor at Christ Embassy’s Houston Texas Church. He is also a part of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren is the director for the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry that has a host of gospel top-selling artists.

Pastor Chris is blessed with two daughters, Charlene and Carissa Sharon. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Carissa Sharon has chosen the way of her father, sharing the Word of God to the world. Also known as CSO she is a Grammy-winning gospel artist and is a part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was educated at Edo College. He then won a scholarship to study architecture at Bendel State University. He has an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. While attending Ambrose Ali University, he was prompted by God to go into the ministry and to be an ambassador for the Lord.

The LoveWorld ministry was launched under the direction of Pastor Chris. It is a pioneer in satellite TV, Christian TV production and programming. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television station that broadcast from Africa to the the world 24/7 all the time on free-to-air channels. Today, LoveWorld stations can be located on cable and satellite television networks across the globe.

Christ Embassy has strong presence in Pastor Chris’s homeland of Nigeria, South Africa and Canada. It also operates two Healing Schools located in South Africa, Canada and the United States, where Pastor Chris runs sessions throughout the year, in which miracles are possible.

Music and Gospel Music play an integral element of worship. Pastor Chris is adamant Christ Embassy Churches that a choir is trained through Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry. Many of these singing talents will go on to have successful solo careers under the guidance of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.

The Future African Leaders Foundation focuses its efforts on continuing the work of Pastor Chris. It is a place to recognize and support young, talented leaders. Pastor Chris invests in today’s youth to help them become tomorrow’s leaders.

The Man, God, has created a number of NGOs with the aim to provide vital services and hope. Five partners make up COFI and are working to raise living standards in the poorest areas.

Under the auspices of COFI are the InnerCity Mission (ICM) for children, the Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF), as well as the Bible For All Mission. Each of these groups strives to improve the health and well-being of those in greatest need.

His charitable organization also provides food to children in need. Chris Oyakhilome Pastor Chris believes in the development of strong communities through the encouragement of responsible governance and accountability in leadership. As per the Sustainable Development Goals, Pastor Chris is also a proponent of sustainable development in Africa and other parts of Africa through COFI.
