Pastor of faith, faith healer writer, and TV host, Chris Oyakhilome, known by his fans as Pastor Chris, is the president and founder of LoveWorld Incorporated, also known as Christ Embassy, located in Lagos, Nigeria. His unique interpretation of God’s Word has inspired thousands worldwide.

Oyakhilome Pastor Chris: The Man

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a faith-based family and loving parents who were devoted to their children. He is the son of the elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the first pioneers of the Assemblies to God Church in Benin City. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. The divine grace of her mother was passed on to her son early.

The LoveWorld ministry is a family effort. Reverend Ken the brother of Ken is the most revered minister of Christ Embassy’s Houston Texas Church and a member on Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren serves as the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry(LMAM) which is where several gospel artists are among the best-selling worldwide.

Pastor Chris has two daughters: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon, who is also known by CSO she has chosen to follow the footsteps of her father, sharing the Gospel of God the world. She is an accomplished, award-winning gospel singer and a member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome attended Edo College and was awarded an award from Bendel State University to study architecture. While he was at university, the Man of God created what would become one of the largest churches worldwide. He began an informal prayer group called “Youth for Christ” which would later become the most well-known group of its kind on campus. This could also be the foundation for the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated, with millions of followers around the globe.

Under Pastor Chris’s leadership, LoveWorld became a pioneer of satellite television and Christian programming. LOVEWORLDSAT was first Christian television station that broadcast out of Africa all day long on free-to-air channels. Today, LoveWorld stations can be located on cable and satellite TV networks around the world.

Christ Embassy has strong presence in Pastor Chris’s native Nigeria, South Africa and Canada. The church has two Healing Schools, based in South Africa and Canada, where Pastor Chris organizes seasonal sessions during which miracles are performed.

Music and Gospel Music are also an integral part of worship. Oyakhilome Pastor Chris Oyakhilome encourages Christ Embassy Churches to have an ensemble trained by the Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry, and through the spirit and direction of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, a lot of these musicians go on to be successful in their solo careers.

The Future African Leaders Foundation(FALF) is an organization which is focused on the ongoing inspirational work of Pastor Chris. Its mission is to find and train young, talented leaders. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, a fervent social entrepreneur and founder of the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation international (COFI) that is a non-profit, nonprofit organization that has the goal of helping the most vulnerable individuals and communities in the least developed countries and regions across the world.

Apart from preaching the gospel message, the Man Of God has also established a number of NGOs that provide vital services and hope to the most vulnerable and neglected people. COFI is supported by five partners, all of whom is dedicated to improving the living standard in the remotest areas.

COFI is responsible for the InnerCity Mission ICM for Children as well as the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC, Traumacare International Foundation TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF), in addition to the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organizations strives to improve people’s lives, health, spirits and well-being.

The charity also provides food for children in need. Chris Oyakhilome Family Pastor Chris believes that solid foundations of community are supported by COFI and The InnerCity Mission. This promotes accountability leadership and good governance.
