Oyakhilome Pastor Chris: The Man

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian, born on December 63 in Edo State. He was raised by his parents, who are loving and caring. He is the oldest child of elder T.E Oyakhilome and Angelina Oyakhilome. She was the pioneer of the Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City and a matriarch of the Oyakhilome families. She passed on her divine grace onto her son from an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry encompasses all members of the family. The Reverend brother of Ken (the revered Pastor of Christ Embassy Houston, Texas Church) and a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council are his two sisters. KattyWorghiren, the director of LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry is home of several international best-selling gospel artists.

Pastor Chris has two daughters: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon is following in her father’s footsteps of sharing God’s Word with the world. As well as being known by CSO as a singer, she is an award-winning, talented gospel artist and is a part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his education at Edo College. After a scholarship was granted to study architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University) and he was awarded an BSc degree in Architecture, and an honorary Doctor of Science. Additionally, he holds an honourary doctorate degree in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He received his calling from God to be a minister and serve the Lord.

The Man of God, while still a student at university started what would become one the most influential churches in the entire world. A small group of prayer named Youth for Christ’ was created. It would grow into one of the largest and most admired organizations on campus. LoveWorld Incorporated would follow millions with the foundation of Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated.

Under the direction of Pastor Chris under the direction of Pastor Chris, the LoveWorld ministry was a pioneer in satellite TV and Christian television production and programming. LoveWorldSAT broadcast the first Christian television station from Africa to the rest of the world, 24/7 via free-toair networks. There are LoveWorld satellite and cable television stations around the world.

Christ Embassy has strong presence in Pastor Chris’s native Nigeria, South Africa and Canada. The ministry has two Healing Schools that are located in South Africa. These schools are where Pastor Chris hosts sessions throughout the year that enable miraculous events to occur.

Music and Gospel Music form an integral aspect of worship. Pastor Chris recommends Christ Embassy Churches that a choir be taught through Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry. A lot of these singing talent go on to enjoy great solo careers under the guidance of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.
