Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian, born on December 63 in Edo State. He was raised by his loving parents. He is the elder of three sons who was born to elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founding members of the Assemblies for God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her faith in God to her son at a young age.

Pastor Chris is blessed with two daughters, Charlene and Carissa Sharon. Carissa Sharon is following her father’s tradition of sharing God’s Word to the world. In addition, she is known as CSO as a singer, she is an award-winning, talented gospel artist and is a part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome attended Edo College before winning a scholarship to study architecture at Bendel State University, known in the present as Ambrose Ali University, where he obtained an BSc in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science award. He is also an honorary doctorate of divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was where he found his calling to serve the Lord and become a minister.

The Man Of God was in the University of Cambridge when he started the church that would eventually grow to become one of largest worldwide. His small prayer group, ‘Youth For Christ’, would quickly become one of campus’ most popular groups. These would go on to create LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy with millions of followers.
